Maintenance Tech
Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Self Storage Facility)
Job Description: A great opportunity for supplemental income.
15 hours per month
Looking for an individual who is trustworthy and dependable, and will strictly enforce the guidelines of our storage facilities' lease agreement.
- Walk/Drive through facilities at least three times per week
- Auction Preparation
- Cut locks and take pictures
- Check the Drop Box for returned Locks
- Place locks in the manager unit.
- Clean / Sweep units after moving out (as needed)
- Sweep units to remove all dust and dirt
- Grease springs & door track with Silicon Spray
- Clean walls as needed (checks for wasp nests, spider webs, etc.)
- Check hasps for proper operation; repair as needed
- Prepare Welcome Kits for new customers
- Maintain Grounds
- Facility walk-throughs and security checks
- Trash removal
- Weed control
- General facility appearance
- Minor Repairs
- Assist in keeping a neat, clean business environment
- Change the weather seal on the bottom of the door if needed
- Meet with vendors for potential projects
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide other facility-related help as needed
- Facility walk-throughs and security checks
- Check the facilities for damage
- Drive the facilities at least twice monthly at night to check for lighting issues.
- Lock Audit once per month
- Monthly Unit Audit (available, unavailable, overlock, auction)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $400.00 per month
Work Location: In person
