Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Limited Permit Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will provide vital mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, through telehealth platforms. Your expertise will support individuals facing various challenges such as trauma, developmental disabilities, addiction, grief, and mental health disorders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working flexibly from your preferred location. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, delivering evidence-based therapies, and ensuring comprehensive documentation- all while adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Please note that this is a 1099 independent contractor position and is fee-for-service (hourly).

Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Deliver individual sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, etc.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management plans to support patient care continuity across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Qualifications
- Valid limited permit or licensure in mental health counseling or related field; active registration with appropriate licensing boards.
- Experience working remotely via telehealth platforms with a strong understanding of telehealth best practices.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards.
- Knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities including behavioral therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to perform patient assessments and deliver patient-centered care confidently.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
