Duties
- Engage with customers both in-person and via outbound calls to identify their automotive needs and preferences
- Demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and financing options to prospective buyers
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, including cold calling and B2B sales strategies
- Negotiate deals effectively to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory control and assist in inventory management to ensure optimal product availability
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales activities for seamless customer relationship management
- Upsell additional products or services such as extended warranties or accessories to enhance the customer experience
- Conduct public speaking engagements or presentations at community events to promote dealership offerings
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional campaigns and outreach efforts
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette, communication skills, and customer service throughout every interaction
- Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies for increasing retail sales and expanding market reach
Skills
- Proven experience in automobile sales, retail sales, or dealership environments with a strong understanding of inventory management and inventory control
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with outbound sales expertise to close deals effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy sales pipeline efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
- Proficiency with CRM software, retail math, and basic math skills for accurate deal calculations and inventory assessments
- Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence
- Experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales, high-end sales, or automotive marketing is advantageous
- Ability to perform cold calling confidently while maintaining professionalism and persistence
- Demonstrated organizational skills to support multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, inventory control procedures, and retail math principles
