We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Accountant who has hands-on experience with
QuickBooks Online and has worked in the logistics or transportation industry. This is an
opportunity to help shape scalable financial practices within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial
environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Process logistics-specific billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Handle month-end and quarter-end closings
- Track margin reporting and carrier settlements
- Support audit preparation and process improvement initiatives
- Work directly with leadership on budgeting, reporting, and financial forecasting
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight, or transportation accounting
- 3+ years of QuickBooks Online experience
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and cost allocation for 3PL operations
- Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail• Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- CPA license (active or on track)
- Experience with accessorials, fuel surcharges, EDI billing, or carrier payments
- Familiarity with TMS and logistics-related accounting integrations
