About the Role
As a Web Press Technician, you will play a vital role in our high-volume manufacturing environment by managing complex printing and converting workflows. You will leverage your technical expertise to ensure precision in label production, driving efficiency and quality across every print run.
Responsibilities-
Execute precise machine setups for 13-inch web press equipment to meet daily production targets.

Perform critical converting tasks including die cutting, laminating, and slitting to achieve high-quality output.

Monitor real-time machine performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize throughput and minimize waste.

Proactively troubleshoot mechanical challenges to maintain operational uptime and production flow.

Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure all finished goods align with strict client specifications.

Maintain detailed production logs and material tracking to support inventory accuracy and workflow transparency.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning to ensure long-term machine reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and meet tight project deadlines.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating web press machinery.

Proven proficiency in die cutting, laminating, and slitting processes.

Strong mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Ability to interpret job tickets, production schedules, and technical blueprints.

Solid understanding of shop math and precision measurement tools.

Prior experience in label, packaging, or flexographic printing environments.

Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as Mark Andy or Nilpeter systems.

Experience in material handling and inventory management within a manufacturing setting.
