Duties
- Operate tow trucks, flatbeds, and recovery vehicles to safely load, transport, and unload vehicles of all types.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach.
- Use mechanical knowledge and automotive repair skills to troubleshoot issues with vehicles or towing equipment.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage conflict situations professionally with customers or other road users, ensuring positive resolutions.
- Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, and unloads; complete shift reports diligently.
- Assist with forklift operation when needed for loading or unloading heavy equipment or parts.
Experience
- Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar recovery vehicles in a commercial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on automotive diagnostics and repair experience.
- Familiarity with manual transmissions and vehicle load securing techniques.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with driving experience in various conditions.
- Mechanic experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
