Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes
- Load and unload packages using manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to meet delivery schedules
- Interact courteously with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures if required, and document delivery status accurately
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle throughout your shift
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or box truck operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Warehouse experience helpful for understanding loading/unloading procedures
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly while maintaining safety standards
