Russell Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to oversee and manage roofing projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and serving as the primary field contact for projects. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of roofing systems, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Job Description:
- Supervise and manage 1-2 roofing/exterior projects at a time
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes
- Enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Communicate effectively with sales and admin departments, suppliers, and customers
- Verify materials, deliveries, and equipment are on-site and used properly
- Track project progress and report updates to management
- Resolve field issues, including workmanship concerns and customer questions
- Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and photos as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roofing, with supervisory or superintendent experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of residential and/or commercial roofing systems (shingle, flat, metal, etc.), including siding, windows, doors, skylights, gutters, flashing, and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, plans, and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of safety practices and compliance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical
Compensation:
- $80,000 to $100,000 annually (based upon experience, plus bonuses)
