Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Video Editor to join our creative team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of visual storytelling, transforming raw footage into compelling videos that captivate audiences and elevate brand narratives. Your expertise in post-production techniques, color correction, motion graphics, and sound editing will help bring ideas to life with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished final products using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid.
- Enhance videos through color correction, color grading, and visual effects to ensure a consistent and professional look.
- Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Maya to add creative flair.
- Manage audio editing and sound design to improve clarity, balance audio levels, and synchronize sound with visuals.
- Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and designers to develop engaging video storytelling that aligns with project goals.
- Handle media management tasks including file organization, transcoding, FTP transfers, and content management system uploads.
- Apply lighting techniques during filming or post-production to improve overall video quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling skills across various formats.
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and other media editing tools.
- Knowledge of color correction/editing techniques and experience with media management systems.
- Familiarity with videography principles including lighting for video production and shot composition.
- Ability to create motion graphics and visual effects that enhance storytelling impact.
- Strong understanding of audio processing and sound design for multimedia projects.
- Experience with 3D animation (Maya or Cinema 4D) or 2D animation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
