Supervises and manages the payroll team, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time.

Responsible for the training of new payroll team members; planning, assigning, and directing the work of the team in concert with the Director of Accounting Operations

Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Oversees the calculation of employee wages, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.

Conducts regular audits of payroll records and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Troubleshoots and resolve payroll issues, including discrepancies and employee inquiries.

Prepares and submit reports related to payroll taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related activities.

Assists in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.

Coordinates with the People Division to maintain and update employee records, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in the payroll system.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll software and tools, ensuring the use of best practices.

Provides support for year-end reporting, including tax filings and W-2 preparation.

Liaise with external vendors, including tax agencies and benefits providers, to resolve payroll-related issues.
