Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team as either an Infant teacher or Float / Breaking position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in our care, fostering their growth and development through various activities.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive play.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Observe and document children's behavior to assess their development.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a supportive team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children and parents.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to different age groups.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
