Job Overview:
The Production Washroom Operator works within a manufacturing setting and is responsible for disassembling, washing, cleaning, and reassembling of dirty equipment. This includes but is not limited to Large Planetary mixers, Ribbon Blenders, Tablet Presses, Strip Packager Machines, Dust Collector Cabinets & Filters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash equipment from the dirty room while following documented instructions for each piece of equipment while following production schedule.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machines while following documented instructions using required tools and cleaning equipment such hoses, hand cleaning tools, and ladders.
- Works with Quality Assurance to ensure cleaning meets standards for every piece of equipment washed.
- Complete documentation on the equipment cleaning cards for completed equipment.
- Transport dirty equipment from dirty room to washroom and clean equipment to storage using pallet jack, etc.
- Perform major clean of washroom, clean room, and drying room.
- Responsible for restocking drums of Isopropyl Alcohol, making Clean in Place, and ensuring all supplies are stocked in the drying room.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift while working in a wet environment and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Production facility is temperature controlled.
Qualifications:
- Effective, clear communicator in both written and oral format.
- Initiative to take on responsibilities and challenges without a high level of oversight.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Must be dependable, reliable, responsible with fulfilling obligations.
- Being pleasant and working in cooperation with others in production and in other departments.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ Year of Washroom Experience Preferred.
