Job Overview
Valiant Sales Group is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our growing team. In this role, you will assist with daily administrative tasks, account coordination, communication follow-ups, scheduling, data entry, and internal organization across multiple brands and retail accounts.
This is a paid position and a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in business operations, sales support, account management, and team coordination. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, comfortable with computers, and able to stay organized while handling multiple tasks at once.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations by helping organize tasks, deadlines, documents, and team communication
- Assist with account coordination tasks for retailers, vendors, and brand partners
- Help track product set-ups, missing information, pricing, assets, and retailer requirements
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documents
- Assist with scheduling meetings, calendar updates, and preparing meeting notes or agendas
- Help follow up with internal team members on assigned tasks, deadlines, and missing information
- Organize files, product information, spec sheets, pricing sheets, and account documents
- Support email and message drafting for retailer/vendor communication when needed
- Proofread documents, emails, spreadsheets, and task updates for accuracy and clarity
- Assist with purchase order, logistics, promotional, and product set-up tracking as needed
- Help maintain organized workflows in tools such as Monday.com, Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Office
- Provide general administrative support to help the team stay organized and on track
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, office, assistant, customer service, or coordination experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and online platforms
- Ability to learn new systems such as Monday.com, retailer portals, and internal tracking tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities at once
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable asking questions when clarification is needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn about sales operations, retail accounts, and brand support
- Experience with data entry, scheduling, spreadsheets, or administrative support is a plus
- Bookkeeping or QuickBooks experience is a plus, but not required
