```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PATROLMAN (ARMED) to join our team to support our clients in the North Shore, City of Boston and our regional clients throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Patrolman will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting patrols, enforcing policies and regulations, and responding to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Security, law enforcement or military experience, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
```Duties```
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets
- Respond to emergency situations such as disturbances, or medical emergencies
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and prevent criminal activity
- Provide assistance to the public by answering questions, providing directions, or offering support during emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to coordinate efforts and share information
- Perform loss prevention duties to minimize theft or damage to property
- Administer first aid or CPR when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of activities and incidents
```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, practices, and regulations
- Military experience is highly desirable
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively handle conflict situations
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills

We are actively seeking Patrolman (ARMED) to fill the following schedules
- Friday 10 pm to 2am (North Shore)
- Saturday 9pm to 1am (North Shore)
- Regional Events - As needed
- City of Boston Events - As Needed
Phoenix Protective Service - Hiring Process
Step 1 - Employment Application
Step 2 - Interview (in-person, 1 hour, Central HQ located in Charlestown, MA)
Step 3 - Background Investigation
Step 4 - Psychological Assessments
Step 5 - Conditional Offer of Employment
Upon receiving a Conditional Offer, the candidate will be placed into a Basic Training Program, which they must attend and pass before moving onto a Field Training Program.
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST have an active LTC (Letter provided by issuing authority)
- Level 3 Retention Holster
- Acceptable Duty Weapon, approved by agency management and MSP
- Full Duty Belt
- Ability to be certified in OC Spray, Baton, Handcuffing, Defensive Tactics, Mental Health Awareness, De-escalation, Guest Services and other required agency training to include annual in-service training
- Ability to qualify with duty weapon a minimum of once per year
- MUST HAVE VEHICLE (Sites are NOT accessible by MBTA)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
