In this role, you will assist experienced HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Support HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration.
- Assist in reading schematics and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup and troubleshooting.
- Handle equipment repair tasks including working with tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment under supervision.
- Aid in the inspection of mechanical systems like Furnaces, Air handlers, MagicPak, Ptac, Mini-Splits, Fan Coils
- Participate in property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning units, appliances, and general mechanical systems.
- Follow safety protocols during field service operations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support the use of technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting HVAC/R systems.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction principles and mechanical systems is preferred.
- Prior experience as a hvac service technician or installer.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, refrigeration,
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R equipment including air conditioning units.
- Experience with field service activities involving property maintenance or appliance repairs.
- Ability to operate tools such as welding equipment and ohmmeters safely and effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving <PERSON> vehicles is beneficial. Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
