Copia Farm is hiring for a high-responsibility, hands-on weekend role that supports both farm operations and the farm store.
This is not a casual weekend helper position. We are looking for a steady, capable, physically strong person who can help keep the farm moving when the work gets heavy, unpredictable, hot, muddy, or urgent.
This role is a mix of livestock care, egg handling, farm problem-solving, equipment work, delivery/loading support, backup dairy milking, and occasional farm store support. The right person is rugged, practical, calm under pressure, and able to move between different kinds of work without needing constant supervision.
This is a great fit for someone with real farm experience who likes honest work, notices what needs to be done, and takes pride in being useful wherever the farm needs them most.
Schedule
Primary need:
Saturday and Sunday availability required
Additional weekday hours may be available for the right person.
Possible schedule may include:
- Saturday and Sunday farm operations coverage
- Backup dairy milking shifts
- Egg collection and packing days
- Occasional store support during busy periods
- Additional project or farm work as needed

- Loading and unloading trucks, vans, coolers, and storage areas
- Serving as a backup dairy milker when needed
- Helping with general farm cleanup, repairs, and weekend chore coverage
- Supporting the farm store when needed, including stocking, lifting, cleaning, carrying products, and helping during heavy customer flow
- Filling in wherever the farm needs an extra capable set of hands
This Role Requires
We need someone who can:
- Work hard physically and safely

- Experienced around livestock or farm work
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, cleaning, packing, hauling, and outdoor labor
- Not afraid of manure, mud, heat, cold, broken things, or hard days
- Able to work with animals respectfully and confidently
- Willing to learn our systems and regenerative practices
- Honest, responsible, and trustworthy
- Adaptable and useful in many areas of the farm
- Someone who takes quiet pride in doing hard work well
Experience That Is Helpful

- Poultry or egg operations
- Hog care
- Tractor or equipment operation
- Farm maintenance
- Fencing or water system repairs
- Loading/unloading trucks
