Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist attorneys with case management, legal research, document review, and procedural support across various areas of litigation. Your expertise will help ensure smooth case workflows and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Support civil and commercial litigation cases in New York.
- Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as JST and Clio.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with clients and courts
- Conduct thorough document review and analysis for collection cases throughout New Yrok.
- Assist in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits and evidence
- Maintain accurate case calendars and deadlines to ensure compliance with procedural laws
- Handle confidential information with discretion while supporting attorneys in client communication and administrative tasks
Experience
- Paralegal experience in a busy law office supporting litigation cases
- Strong knowledge of procedural law for pre and post judgement collections in New York.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Skilled in legal writing, drafting documents, and conducting legal research with precision
- Experience supporting attorneys in court filings, document review, and client communication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and document processing tools
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information professionally while maintaining high ethical standards
- Strong Computer skills required

Pay: $62,166.29 - $74,866.94 per year
