Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly to support breakfast and morning service.
- Handle dishwashing duties, ensuring all cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
- Support menu planning by organizing ingredients and supplies needed for daily cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage food handling procedures carefully to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and basic cooking skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, and food industry standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
