LOCATION: Southern Oklahoma / North Texas
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Asphalt Plant Material Haul Driver to transport asphalt and other materials from our plants to various job sites throughout Southern Oklahoma and North Texas. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks, proper loading and unloading of materials, and compliance with all DOT, company, and site safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the flexibility to support plant and field operations as needed.

Transport asphalt and other plant materials safely and efficiently from the plant to job sites.

Operate assigned haul vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Follow all company safety policies and take specific action to avoid incidents with the traveling public.

Perform proper loading, transport, and unloading procedures for all materials.

Complete required DOT logbooks and maintain accurate records.

Follow all equipment monitoring, inspection, and maintenance requirements.

Report equipment issues, needed repairs, and maintenance concerns promptly.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience.

Work closely with plant personnel, dispatch, supervisors, and job site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Comply with all DOT regulations and company transportation policies.

Maintain a professional attitude and positive working relationship with co-workers, managers, and the public.

Assist with other duties as assigned, including labor or support work when needed.

Work outdoors and around light and heavy equipment in varying weather and job site conditions.

Other duties as assigned by management.

This position requires working knowledge of commercial truck operation, hauling procedures, DOT compliance, and equipment safety practices. The successful candidate must understand vehicle inspections, material transport requirements, and basic maintenance reporting.

Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions, safety procedures, and equipment information, including the ability to research and order parts when necessary.

Knowledge of asphalt plant operations, haul routes, and safe driving practices in construction and public traffic environments is preferred.

Valid Class A or B CDL required.

Current DOT medical card required.

Good driving record and strong commitment to safety.

Ability to read, comprehend, research, and order parts.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Good safety, behavior, and attendance record required.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment with co-workers and managers.

Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension communication skills.

Willingness to travel and work out of town as needed.

Willingness to perform other work as needed, including heavy labor.

Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather extremes.

Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including swing shift, graveyard shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

Ability to work near, around, or on light and heavy equipment.

Ability to sit for extended periods while operating commercial vehicles.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift as needed to perform job duties.

Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and changing weather conditions.

Must be able to safely enter and exit trucks and equipment multiple times per shift.

Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials or equipment components as needed.

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and work boots.
