Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and managing financial transactions. Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports
- Greet guests arriving during the overnight shift and assist with check-ins and check-outs as needed
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and guest information using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during overnight hours
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating guest profiles and processing billing adjustments
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless guest services and guest relations
- Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and standards of hospitality management
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or night audit roles within the hospitality industry
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services excellence
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel management software and accounting procedures related to night audit functions
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interactions and team collaboration
- Hospitality management expertise combined with a friendly demeanor to enhance overall guest experiences
