Duties
- Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and care
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish application, and intricate designs using color theory principles
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and products that meet clients’ preferences and needs
- Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout each service session
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar cosmetology role with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
- Knowledge of color theory to create harmonious and eye-catching nail designs
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols essential for maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff
- Excellent customer service skills to build lasting relationships with clients and promote repeat business
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Certifications in cosmetology, full specialist or related fields
