We are currently seeking a Heidelberg Press Assistant / Helper to support the operation of an 8-Color Heidelberg Printing Press. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are eager to build their skills.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
- 3rd Shift
- Thursday – Sunday
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Full-Time
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Pressman with the setup, operation, and cleanup of the 8-Color Heidelberg printing press
- Ensure all materials and components are prepared for upcoming production jobs
- Read and follow job specifications accurately
- Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on the press
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and complete all required documentation
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production, quality, and safety goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good organizational and mechanical skills
- Experience using rulers, gauges, and basic hand tools preferred
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to maneuver in tight spaces
- Frequent bending, reaching, and standing throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, move, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
