Position Overview
Aquacade Pools is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our retail team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with pool and spa products while placing a strong emphasis on spa and hot tub sales.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable selling premium products, and is passionate about helping customers create their ideal backyard experience. This role combines retail sales, customer service, water testing support, and showroom management in a fast-paced environment.
Whether helping a customer select a new hot tub, recommending water care products, or assisting with pool maintenance supplies, this individual will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Spa & Hot Tub Sales
- Meet with customers in the showroom to understand their needs and lifestyle goals
- Educate customers on spa features, benefits, and available models
- Present financing options and promotional programs
- Guide customers through the purchase process from initial inquiry through delivery
- Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Help achieve monthly and annual spa sales goals
Retail Sales & Customer Service
- Assist customers with pool chemicals, equipment, accessories, and retail merchandise
- Provide recommendations based on customer needs and pool conditions
- Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
- Build lasting customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Water Testing & Product Recommendations
- Perform computerized water testing and explain results to customers
- Recommend appropriate chemicals and treatment programs
- Educate customers on proper pool and spa water care practices
- Promote maintenance programs, service offerings, and equipment upgrades when appropriate
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and product displays
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Help ensure products are properly stocked and presented
- Support seasonal promotions, events, and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interest in sales and customer relationship building
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using POS systems, email, CRM software, and basic computer applications
- Ability to learn pool and spa products, water chemistry, and equipment systems
- Ability to work weekends during peak season
- High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
