Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide attentive care to individuals living with dementia or cognitive changes
- Observe client conditions and report changes to the care team promptly
- Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
- Protect client confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
- Treat every client with dignity while honoring their rights and preferences
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Oklahoma) preferred; experienced caregivers encouraged to apply
- Experience in home care, hospice, assisted living, or skilled nursing strongly preferred
- Familiarity with dementia care practices
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely lift and transfer clients following proper safety protocols
