We are seeking an experienced Home Health Intake & Staffing Specialist who understands the urgency, compliance, and coordination required in a fast-paced agency environment.
This role is ideal for someone with prior home health intake or scheduling experience who can independently manage admissions, clinician staffing, authorizations, and EMR workflows with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with processing new patient admissions through Start of Care (SOC)
- Verify patient insurance and demographic information
- Coordinate staffing for nursing, therapy, MSW, and HHA services
- Schedule nursing and therapy visits : SOCs, ROCs, recerts, evals, and PRN visits
- Track documentation within compliance timelines and authorizations
- Maintain admission logs and provide daily updates
- Support communication between clinicians and referral sources

What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of home health intake or staffing experience, healthcare scheduling, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of SOC, ROC, Recertifications, OASIS, and Medicare workflows preferred
- Comfortable working with computer systems, EMR experience (Wellsky/Kinnser preferred)
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
