Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Square POS system.
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces by bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Assist in food prep tasks such as assembling ingredients, cooking, and plating meals in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with Square POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive communication style.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
