We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry Level Sales & Service Representative to join our team. This position combines both sales and customer service responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping people, and growing their income through performance-based rewards.
Whether you're already licensed or looking to start a career in insurance, we provide training, mentorship, and licensing support for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
Sales Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients using our agency systems
- Handle inbound calls, quote requests, and internet leads
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, social media, and community outreach
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
- Cross-sell additional products to existing clients, including Home, Life, Business, and Personal Benefits Insurance
- Follow up on leads and referrals in a timely and professional manner
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance objectives
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Assist current clients with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, and coverage reviews
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, and other service requests
- Provide exceptional customer service to strengthen client retention
- Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to improve coverage
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within the agency management system
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using web-based applications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Must be able to obtain Alabama insurance licenses (P&C and Life/Health)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales, customer service, retail, call center, or insurance experience
- Experience meeting sales goals or quotas
- Alabama Property & Casualty License and/or Life & Health License
