American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of ICU experience.

Work in the ICU/Rehab Unit of a regional health center
-
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
13-week assignment length
-
Every other weekend required
-
Monday or Tuesday start dates accommodated

Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) currently in hand

AHA certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, though 1 year with travel experience may be considered

Iowa SING background check required, including both criminal and child abuse portions, with no exceptions
-
All background checks (county and state level) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide-only searches not accepted

Mandatory reporter certification required (both Child and Adult)

10-panel drug screening required, including opiates
-
Titers required within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
-
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Provide critical care nursing services within an acute rehabilitation and ICU setting
-
Facility offers a wide range of services including emergency medicine, critical care, medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, and specialty services such as cardiac catheterization and wound care

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment

First-time travelers with qualifying experience may be considered
