Overview
We are seeking energetic and personable Server/Hosts to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing seating, reservations, and customer needs. Your enthusiasm and hospitality will ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Upsell menu items by highlighting specials and popular dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant sales.
- Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of host station, dining area, and surrounding spaces in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Experience using the Aloha POS system or similar restaurant point-of-sale software
- Knowledge of guest service principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service setting is preferred
