Job Overview
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, packaging, documenting, and loading products for shipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery to customers. This role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Team members progress through three skill levels based on demonstrated competency, leadership, and knowledge of Talos manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare products for shipment by properly skidding and securing materials.
- Read and interpret packaging work orders.
- Verify all required components are present prior to shipment.
- Apply correct product labels and identification tags.
- Complete shipping documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
