Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager with at least 3-5+ years of commercial trades experience to join our growing team. This role leads projects from pre-construction stage through closeout, ensuring work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Working both hand in hand with site management and with employees making sure the project runs smoothly.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of field knowledge, project leadership, organizational strength, and professional communication, and takes pride in delivering projects they can stand behind.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC construction projects from pre-construction planning through final closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and quality
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment to meet project timelines
- Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship
- Identify and resolve project risks, changes, and conflicts proactively
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and internal leadership
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety policies, and applicable codes
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction methods, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office and project management or construction software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or a related field preferred (not required)
