The Beardsmith has an open chair, and we're looking for a barber who takes the craft seriously — not just someone to fill a station. We've been a fixture in Boise since 2014 — a five-chair shop with 600+ five-star Google reviews and a client base that keeps coming back. That reputation belongs to the shop, and it means you're walking into real chair time from day one.
You'll do full-service barbering: including our Signature Beardsmithing service — a process our regulars build their whole routine around. We'll train you on it. What we need from you is the skill, the work ethic, and the reliability to make the most of it.
This is a team that shows up for each other — barbers who take pride in their craft, a shop that runs smoothly because everyone pulls their weight, and clients who notice the difference the moment they walk in.
Requirements:
- Active Idaho barber license, or ability to obtain one prior to start date
- Cosmetologists looking to specialize in men's grooming are welcome to apply
- Solid technical skill across cuts, fades, and beard work
- Reliable — we check references and work history before we hire
Shop Hours: Tuesday–Friday 7 AM–7 PM, Saturday 7 AM–4:30 PM. Closed Sunday and Monday.
