American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a permanent Ohio or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Contract length options of 13–20 weeks

Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand (permanent license required)

Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred

Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

One managerial reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required for consideration; reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted

A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

No open background case or license hits — all background hits are reviewed by the facility

An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation; candidates have a maximum of 2 attempts to achieve a passing score

BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract

Candidates who previously worked at a Cleveland Clinic facility as permanent or per diem staff must wait at least 1 year from their end date before being eligible

Travelers may be submitted for only one Cleveland Clinic Health System position at a time

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of interview

Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
