Duties
- Deliver room service orders to guest rooms
- Assist in food preparation and plating to ensure dishes meet quality standards before serving
- Safely handle and transport food items using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
- Serve food and beverages efficiently to guests at their tables or designated areas, maintaining excellent customer service
- Clear tables by bussing dishes promptly and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Support kitchen staff with food running duties during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately when needed
- Collaborate with team members to uphold food safety standards and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and proper manual handling techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely, including carrying trays or large food items
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, cooking processes, or culinary experience enhances your ability to excel in this role
