At Greenwood Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic and dedicated healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist at Greenwood Center, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, work closely with our interdisciplinary care team, and support other healthcare professionals in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with various medical conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with the input of patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and regulations
- Participate in care conferences and care plan updates
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered State of Rhode Island Physical Therapy license
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current CPR certification
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
