Position Summary
The Cannabis Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with licensed dispensary partners, opening new accounts, supporting product education, coordinating staff trainings, and driving consistent sell-through across assigned retail locations.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the New Jersey cannabis market, has strong communication skills, enjoys being in the field, and can represent the brand professionally with retail buyers, managers, budtenders, and ownership groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow wholesale relationships throughout South Jersey.
- Open new licensed dispensary accounts within the assigned territory.
- Visit retail partners regularly to support product placement, brand visibility, and account growth.
- Present menus, pricing, promotions, and product updates to buyers and store teams.
- Coordinate and assist with staff trainings, product education, and brand activations.
- Work closely with internal sales leadership, operations, and distribution teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery communication.
- Monitor account performance, sell-through, reorder timing, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate notes, account updates, and sales activity in the company CRM or tracking system.
- Support new product launches and help build excitement around upcoming drops.
- Represent the company professionally and in compliance with all applicable New Jersey cannabis regulations.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive activity, and retailer needs within the territory.
Qualifications
- Prior cannabis sales, wholesale sales, retail management, or account management experience preferred.
- Existing relationships with New Jersey dispensaries are a strong plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable being in the field and visiting accounts regularly.
- Ability to build trust with buyers, managers, budtenders, and ownership groups.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage a territory independently.
- Strong understanding of cannabis products, especially flower and pre-rolls.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be 21 years and able to pass a state-mandated background check.
- Must be able to comply with all company policies and state cannabis regulations.
Territory
South Jersey, including but not limited to Atlantic County, Camden County, Burlington County, Gloucester County, Cumberland County, Salem County, Cape May County, and surrounding areas.

Schedule
Full-time position with regular travel throughout the assigned territory. Some evenings or weekends may be required for events, trainings, or retail activations.
