Your Role
As an inpatient Registered Dietitian, you will assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the broader clinical team to support recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term health.
Clinical areas may include:
- Adult acute care
- Geriatric care
- Adult behavioral health
- Geriatric behavioral health
- Inpatient rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition screenings and comprehensive assessments
- Develop and implement individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other care team members
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in quality, safety, and departmental initiatives
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential
- Licensed in Arkansas or eligible for Arkansas licensure
- New graduates are welcome
- Hospital or inpatient experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage an inpatient caseload independently
