Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient clinic specializing in cardiology. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical setting and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient cardiology setting
- Assist with patient assessments and documentation
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
- Conduct blood withdrawal and IV therapy
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Utilize EPIC for patient records and scheduling
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Must-Have (Requirements)
- Active California LVN or LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Certification in IV therapy and blood withdrawal
- Experience with venipuncture and sterile techniques
Preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
- Experience in vein ablation and endovenous laser therapy (EVLT)
- Ability to float to other specialty clinics as needed
