American Traveler is hiring a travel EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath lab procedures including structural heart, Impella, and EP interventions for a 13-week assignment in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 7 holding beds
-
Procedures include TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, right/left heart cath, Impella/IABP, device implants, DCCV, and TEE
-
Equipment includes GE Innova and Impella
-
Documentation systems: MacLab and Meditech
-
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with STEMI call approximately 10–12 days per month

Self-scheduling available

Float within department to EP lab and Stress lab
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, including Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR
-
Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Experience with PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP required

Proficiency with MacLab and/or Meditech preferred

Allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in this role

License required if applicable

Two professional references required for Florida placements

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Perform EP and cath lab procedures including structural heart interventions, PCI, device implants, DCCV, TEE, and hemodynamic support with Impella/IABP

Experienced staff team with self-scheduling options

Hospital is the only acute care facility in the Tri-County area offering open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center

Hospital has received Daisy and Sunflower Awards recognitions

Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
