A Brief Overview
The Behavioral Health Institute at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is now accepting applications for a highly competitive, two-year Behavioral Medicine Clinical and Research Fellowship, in collaboration with the Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. This postdoctoral fellowship is designed for early-career psychologists (prior to licensure) seeking hands-on experience in a leading academic health system. Fellows benefit from a unique blend of:
- Direct clinical experience in evidence-based behavioral health care
-
Embedded, team-based research opportunities with behavioral medicine and cardiovascular experts
-
Dedicated mentorship and professional development, including support for grant writing and independent research
Through this immersive experience, fellows build the skills needed to lead at the intersection of behavioral health and medical care - developing both clinical expertise and a strong foundation for academic research.
Affiliated with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, this program prepares graduates for careers in academic medicine, research, and advanced clinical practice. Fellows will be license-eligible upon completion.
