Job Summary
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from check-in to check-out. You will oversee daily front desk operations, lead a team of front desk agents, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management. Your role is vital in creating a warm, efficient, and memorable experience for our guests while maintaining smooth hotel functions. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest services with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency using hotel management systems such as OPERA.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear communication and prompt responses to guest or internal needs.
- Conduct night audits to verify daily revenue reports, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial documentation for management review.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures, including safety protocols and crisis response plans, to ensure guest and staff safety at all times.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette, guest relations skills, and multilingual communication when needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong understanding of hotel procedures.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management software such as OPERA is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Strong leadership qualities to motivate and guide front desk teams during all shifts, including nights.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols specific to resort or hotel environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operation.
- Previous resort or hotel experience preferred to understand the nuances of guest relations in dynamic hospitality settings.
