JOB TITLE: Experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator
Jose’s Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated sheet metal fabrication company seeking an experienced, well-rounded HVAC sheet metal fabricator.
This position is not for welding only. Applicants must have hands-on experience fabricating ductwork, reading blueprints, laying out fittings by hand, and operating sheet metal equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Perform hand layout of fittings and ductwork
- Operate brakes, shears, roll formers, plasma tables, and other shop equipment
- Fabricate Pittsburgh seams and TDF/TDC ductwork
- Perform MIG and TIG welding when needed
- Work with galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Complete projects accurately and independently
- Follow shop procedures and safety requirements
Preferred Experience:
- HVAC duct fabrication
- Hand layout
- Blueprint reading
- Brake and shear operation
- Roll former operation
- Plasma table or CNC operation
- Pittsburgh seams
- TDF/TDC construction
- MIG and TIG welding
- Stainless steel and aluminum welding
Applicants must be able to demonstrate their skills during a hands-on fabrication and welding test.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
