Looking for a caregiver-related worker dedicated to helping our clients with disabilities complete vital daily-living tasks such as: (but not limited to):
- grocery shopping, attending medical appointments, completing household chores, and other daily tasks.
- Support clients in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation while following dietary guidelines and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment.
- Provide transportation and accompaniment to appointments, recreational activities, community outings, and social events as needed.
- Encourage community participation, social engagement, and personal independence.
- Monitor client health, safety, and well-being, reporting concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes, progress updates, and incident reports in accordance with agency policies.
- Follow individualized support plans and ensure services are delivered with respect, professionalism, and compassion.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or related populations is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Current negative TB test required.
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation strongly preferred.
- Ability to pass all required background screenings.
