Position: Sales Coordinator | Full Time

JOB SUMMARY: The sales coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team ensuring smooth operation of the sales process, requiring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail to maintain guest satisfaction and achieve sales goals. The sales coordinator provides administrative support to sales representatives. The Sales personnel is familiar with hotel amenities, its location, and actively promotes the Ayres culture of caring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Daily administrative duties such as typing, filing, handling telephones.
- Provide administrative support and group coordination for Director of Sales and Sales Managers as directed by Office Manager.
- Maintain organized office filing and trace systems.
- Handle incoming telephone calls, answer questions, and secure all information needed.
- Maintain the department’s database of corporate clients.
- Conduct sales site tours as needed.
- Assist in hotel special projects and events as needed.
- Ensure sales department cleanliness, organization, office equipment, and supplies are maintained to obtain maximum efficiency.
- Maintain accurate, neat and organized account files.
- Assist guests and other team members as needed.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures including dress code.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
- Use the appropriate phrases and greetings when interacting with guests and other team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Work in a safe and conscientious manner, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
