Overview
Phinix Logistics is seeking dependable, customer-focused independent contractors to join our last-mile delivery team in Jacksonville, FL.
We operate 26' box trucks providing residential delivery services for major retailers. Team members are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, customer service, and operational compliance.
We currently have openings for both Lead Drivers and Associate Drivers, with opportunities for advancement as our operation continues to grow.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST
Lead Driver Requirements
- Previous last-mile delivery, furniture delivery, appliance delivery, or installation experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage delivery routes and direct team activities
- Valid driver's license
- DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one before assignment
- Ability to safely operate a 26' box truck
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26' box truck on assigned delivery routes
- Lead and coordinate daily route execution
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule
- Deliver appliances, electronics, and other large items to customer locations
- Complete required documentation and delivery confirmations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Mentor and train Associate Drivers
Associate Driver Requirements
- Delivery, warehousing, moving, installation, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move large items safely
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Driver with deliveries and product placement
- Load and unload freight safely
- Follow company safety procedures and delivery protocols
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers
- Participate in training and development activities
- Support route completion and customer satisfaction goals

Qualifications
Experience
- Appliance delivery and/or installation: 1 YEAR REQUIRED
- Non-CDL or CDL driving: 2 YEARS PREFERRED
- Last-mile delivery experience: PREFERRED
- Reliable weekend availability: REQUIRED
License/Certification
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- DOT Medical Card (Lead Drivers Required; Associates may obtain prior to advancement)
