Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Licensed Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and wellness, delivering exceptional guest services through a variety of treatments including hair styling, skincare, makeup, and advanced cosmetic procedures. The Licensed Cosmetologist will also engage in retail sales, social media management, and product demonstrations to promote our brand and services.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of beauty treatments including hair styling, hair extensions, nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and body waxing.
- Conduct advanced procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and deep tissue massage.
- Manage guest appointments efficiently using salon software such as Millennium and Glossgenius.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and recommending suitable treatments and products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all treatment areas following industry regulations.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling retail sales.
- Engage with clients through social media management and product demos to enhance client engagement and promote services.
- Upsell additional treatments and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology, management practices, and new treatment techniques to ensure the highest quality of service.
Skills
- Licensed Cosmetologist with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, nail care, makeup application, and skincare treatments.
- Experience with advanced cosmetic procedures such as Botox (Botulinum toxin), dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and body waxing.
- Proficiency in salon management software including Millennium and Glossgenius.
- Strong social media management skills for promoting services and engaging with clients online.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and communication skills.
- Ability to perform sanitation duties meticulously to maintain a safe environment.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and product demos.
- Familiarity with management practices within a med spa or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Competence in various cosmetology techniques such as hair threading, straight razor shaving, hair extensions, makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, (if applicable), and scalp treatments like color theory or hair coloring techniques.
