Job Summary
As a Heavy Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you're the muscle behind the machinery that keeps production moving. You'll troubleshoot and repair high-load mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, and gearboxes, and tackle the breakdowns that stop heavy manufacturing operations cold, all while keeping safety first.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Expected to follow all safety rules and policies and work in a manner that protects themselves and other stakeholders from hazards and injuries.
- Support Casting and/or Mill operations with timely maintenance and repair services.
- Review schedules to determine setup and work sequence.
- Review feasibility; develop solutions and complete projects with limited supervision.
- Casting Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians will perform environmental recordkeeping on Form 9002 per Work Instruction 010850.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Must be able to read and use a hydraulic schematic to troubleshoot.
- Consistent and reliable work experience
- 4+ years of experience as industrial manufacturing mechanic
- Knowledge of rigging and material handling equipment
- Hydraulic experience
- Welding – MIG, TIG and Stick
- Fabrication Experience
- Willingness to travel 100%
