General Purpose:
The Shift Supervisor (Day) must be a team leader and have the knowledge and experience to oversee production and the process along with leadership skills to guide and train his or her personnel as needed. He or she is responsible for overseeing the daily operations which include manufacturing, processing and packaging of finished products and materials, and is responsible for employee performance during their particular shift to ensure that all standards and policies are met and surpassed at all times.
General Responsibilities and tasks include but not limited to:

- Ensures all company policies, procedures and standards are communicated effectively, maintained and followed in a constant manner.
- Organizes work throughout the facility while he or she performs and directs others to complete the cleaning and operational tasks
- Assign personnel to their respective lines and job tasks for that day.
- Fill out a production sheet for his or her shift.
- Hold effective shift huddles and warrant breaks
- Oversee that all personnel are dressed appropriately with the correct PPE gear as needed and is following the GMP’s.
- Supervise all elements of the production operations.
- Assure quality of the film being produced meets the company standards and customer specifications.
- Assure all lines are manned at all times to consistently monitor proper film production.
- Thoroughly communicates with next shift for shift change
- Upholds “Safety First” mindset at all times
- Habitually provides documentation for all attendance and counseling seasons with all employees
- Motivate and direct team to superior job performance.
Knowledge and Skills:
- To perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, while working in a fast paced environment to carry out the job.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritizes and delegate work with follow through.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and to motivate staff while maintaining a cohesive team.
- Must have minimal mechanical aptitude for basic machinery.
- Should have some mechanical training.
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work on your feet.
- Must be able to work a 12hr. shift.
In the event that the Shift Supervisor (Day / Night) is not present, the Lead Setup personnel will take his or her place.
