Position Summary
We're hiring a part-time, in-house Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to join our outpatient team. This is an in-office role, 4 days per week, working directly with clients on individualized treatment plans, assessments, and ongoing SUD counseling within a small, hands-on clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for clients seeking SUD services, including ASAM criteria-based placement decisions
- Provide individual counseling within your credentialed scope
- Develop and update Individual Service Plans (ISPs) with measurable, client-centered goals
- Complete timely, compliant documentation for each date of service
- Apply ASAM criteria at admission, continued service, referral, and discharge decision points
- Coordinate care with rehabilitative case management, peer support, and other agency services as needed
- Participate in discharge planning and continuing care recommendations
- Maintain compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements for SUD records
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Washington State credential as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) under chapter 18.205 RCW
- Working knowledge of ASAM criteria and placement methodology
- Understanding of WAC 246-341 documentation and confidentiality requirements (42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA)
- Strong, timely clinical documentation habits
Preferred:
- Experience with outpatient SUD treatment in a small clinic setting
- Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Experience with behavioral health EHR systems
Pay: $25.00 per hour
