Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscaper / Driver in Northeast Florida to lead by example in the field while safely transporting crews, equipment, and materials to job sites. This position requires a skilled landscaper with a minimum of three (3) years of professional landscaping experience who is comfortable driving a truck and trailer, operating commercial landscaping equipment, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a 1099 position. Pay is per successful completion. Opportunities for bonuses.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company truck and trailer to transport crews, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Safely load, unload, and secure landscaping equipment and materials.
- Lead by example and assist crew members in completing daily landscaping services.
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment including:
- Zero-turn mowers
- Stand-on mowers
- Weed eaters
- Edgers
- Hedge trimmers
- Blowers
- Chainsaws and pole saws (when necessary)
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, planting, sod installation, seasonal cleanups, and general landscape maintenance.
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Train and mentor less experienced crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, trailer, and equipment.
- Follow company safety policies and all traffic laws.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional landscaping experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a truck and pull/back a landscape trailer.
- Clean criminal background (background check required).
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment and maintenance practices.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida’s heat and varying weather conditions.
- Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or supervising landscaping crews.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape installation.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
